Brenda has a dragon in her blood

Brenda is a very normal girl.

She loves flying her kite

and watching the clous.

One thing however is not so normal:

Brenda has a dragon in her blood.

The dragon’s name is HIV and

he’s a very nasty dragon.

This dragon must be kept asleep.

“Brenda has a dragon in her blood”

is the story of Brenda,

a three year old with HIV.

A true story, written down by her foster mother.

A book to read and discuss with children.

To stimulate acceptance of children

with AIDS and HIV and to stop prejudice.

Why? Just because children with HIV and AIDS are

very normal children, who need other children with whom

they can raid the cookie jar.
