Project of 2020: 21,300 children’s books for 50 classrooms in Gambia 

Thanks to a collaboration between the MRC Holland Foundation and Biblionef, 21,300 children’s books were donated to 50 different classrooms of different public schools in Gambia. Biblionef Netherlands, through their team of volunteers, made a great selection of books for the 50 classrooms ranging from simple reading books to large encyclopedias. Each classroom received 60 books. This way, every child can read a different book every week. Based on feedback from the teachers in Gambia, a second selection of books may be made in the future.
